Gifted Hands Academy is a Phlebotomy Certification Program, located in Northwest Indiana that offers a chance for residents in residing areas to participate in hands-on learning and attend a school that is offering an opportunity to work toward building a rewarding career in the healthcare field. Small intimate class settings with hands on learning, 2 facilitators and course work that will prepare you for the workforce.

Gifted Hands Academy will be receiving the following certifications: The National Commission for Certifying Agencies, which accredits certification organizations complying with its Standards. It’s mission is to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the public through new and established accreditation programs. Gifted Hands Academy will also be certifying through the state of Indiana -Office of Career and Technical Schools (OTCS) and the WorkOne Program. The OTCS certification also certifies agencies to operate in the state for programs that are not degree qualifying and the WorkOne certification will allow for residents who can not afford the cost of tuition to be paid for by a qualifying program. Gifted Hands Academy is ensuring that it has various methods for identifying the target audience to enroll in the program and create a breakthrough in the healthcare field.

One of the most important things to Owner/Visionary Tiffany Stokes is that she provides this program in the underprivileged neighborhoods of North West Indiana to assist with closing the gap on the various disparities that impact these neighborhoods.

Special Procedures Prerequisites

• Applying students need the consent of the program coordinator

• GED/Highschool Diploma

• Must be able to speak and read in English

• Must have an up-to-date Tetanus Shot

• Must have a valid Driver’s license or a State I.D.

• Hours:60 Course / 8 Weeks / 2 Days a week W-F

• Night Class: 4 P.M. - 9 P. M.
